Navy Required - WWA1984 Has Crashed into the Sea!!!
Well, I just tried flying from TFFF - TFFJ on the P255 but something went wrong in the LJ60!! The Number1 Engine started loosing Oil Pressure untill it shut down! Then both the Center and the Right Fuel Tanks lost all fuel so I tried to bleed the Left tank fuel into the Number2 Engine, didn't work because that soon drained away too! So now that's 2 crashes in a LearJet so far this Month - I'm doing good! Here's some snapshots of the in-dangerd plane: The Errors on the Cokpit display: The Sea (No Islands Anyware!):

That is Unknown at this time, the seat counter has been swallowed by the sea and there are helicopters searching the crash site for anything!
So far no Bodys have been found and all the wreckege of the plane now lies at the bottom of the ocean!
The Black Boxes havn't been retreived yet and the boats are on route!

Re: Navy Required - WWA1984 Has Crashed into the Sea!!!
Is it just me or have we had a lot of WestWind failures and crashes lately? I think we may need to check most of our aircraft for any problems that could prevent this. Also maybe a Denver Seminar should be scheduled to teach how to handle emergencies, restart procedures (If possible), CRM, and filing after an emergency or failure.

Com'on guys, Bermuda triangle, Brazil......back to the maps.
Between TFFF and TFFJ are at least 8 other islands with more than 10 airfields. Perhaps a better knowledge of the area could have saved you, there are a lot of chances. Come back for island hopping in the Caribbean. Lots of fun, lots of sunshine.

Nope, the second the fuel went I opend the GPRS window and looked everyware for a nearby airport but I was too far out to sea!
I don't know why the controllers put me out that far but I had no chance of a Dry Land Landing!
This is a map released by the NTSB on a rough location of the wreckage;

Like I said at the top - "2 LearJet's in 1 month", I'm costing WWA a fortune!
Overall I've had 4 Crashes within my 9 - 10 Months with WWA.
- One was in a CRJ700, crashing during check flight. New to using a Joy Stick and I didn't know its limits.
- Another in a G550, collision on the Runway with a 737-800 who ignored a controller who said "Pacifica ####, please hold. A Gulfstream is landing"
- One in a LJ45, nose gear faliure (see other thread)
- And Finally This one in the LJ60
I'm guessing now that I'm going to have my pay cheques cut in order to pay off what 'crinimal' damage I've done to this VA

Well, the LJ45 gear failure couldn't have been avoided - this can happen to everyone. Although other three were avoidable. When you noticed that you're losing fule, you needed to land as soon as possible. When you were landing the G550, you needed to go around. I think we should write some information about failures, how to avoid them, what to do when one happens. We should also make more training flights with failures. That would improve our pilots' skills. I would be glad to help with that

SirijusS:Well, the LJ45 gear failure couldn't have been avoided - this can happen to everyone.
Nope, that was Pilot Error . I was too determined to get the plane on the ground and then when I thought I had cracked it... Nose Gear Failed!
SirijusS:When you noticed that you're losing fule, you needed to land as soon as possible.
I turned back to the Land the second I noticed the Oil Pressure change, but I was way too far out to sea. Then when all fuel went, I was still nowhere near any land!
SirijusS:When you were landing the G550, you needed to go around.
Bad visibility & Pilot Error caused this on. I couldn't see a thing and I was relying on the ILS to land me, I also guessed that the plane had stopped but boy was I wrong!!

I would be glad to help with that aswell, as most can tell I've had a few avodible accidents!
