    Introduction

    Hi All,

I've been with WWA for a couple of weeks and I thought that I would finally get on here and introduce myself to the Hub.  My real world flight experience is limited to being a Navy Aircrewman (non-pilot) on the MH-53E Super Dragon.  I also have experience as a hydraulic and structural mechanic on the F-14D Super Tomcat and F/A-18A/B/C/D Hornet /E/F Super Hornet & /G Growler.

So far my experience here with WWA has been nothing short of spectacular.  I finally got the nerve up to try my first VATSIM flight last week, I honestly don't know what I've been waiting for.  Last night (Friday May 16) was my first flight with service from push back to shutdown and it was amazing.  Traffic at arrival (JFK) was packed and I got put into holding (never done that before).  Add that onto the weather (3/4 to 1 vis) and the pucker factor for me was high.  I love the realism it adds.  You know they say that with drugs, the high is never as good as the first time.  Is this the same way?  I know that I am already addicted.  Well regardless, I love it.  Thanks to everybody that helped get me started.

Again, I'm happy to be here, and I'll see you guys around the skies.

    Re: Introduction

    Ted, Welcome to KJFK.

If you every see myself or any other WWA member on VATSIM, feel free to drop us a line.  I'm not on there as much as I want to be due to slow Internet speeds but I'm often on the Multiplayer servers (even though I get signed out every hour) which can be good but not as good as VATSIM!

Good luck with your time in the Navy.

And enjoy West Wind Airlines and the NY hub.
