Good to see a healthy number of hours being flown by the Sydney Hub Pilots.
Quite a few new members during the last month. Most of them in there really flying up a storm too -(perhaps a bad choice of words?)
In the next couple of days I will post to the hub forum an update on our new pilots.
Please be thoughtful of our Hub Manager, Tim Cavanagh, just now as he goes through a mix of agony & misery after back surgery.
Last month (June) we had the Australian light plane National Championships RIGHT HERE IN TAREE NSW!! Like WOW!!! Precision Flying, Simulated Emergency Landings, Formation Flying, Aerobatics - only just now getting over the neck spasms from many hours of looking skywards. What an absolute buzz! Yep, here at Taree we have a great airfield and a strong flying club. Commercially, it's really starting to move - repairers, prop works, kit builders etc.
Regards to all!
