    WWA Screenshot Contest

    Monthly WWA Screenshot Competition

Starting June 1, 2008 Each WWA Hub will be holding individual screenshot competitions.  Beginning on the 1st of the month until the 20th, pilots will submit photos to the Hub Manager or Assistant Hub Manager for selection of the top 5 photos to be voted on.  From the 20th to the 25th the hub members will then vote for the best photo from their hub.  After the 1 photo is chosen it will go into a pool with the winner from all other WWA Hubs from the 26th thru the last day of the month voting will take place for the whole airline.

After the winner is chosen that photo will be displayed on the main WWA home page (in place of the WW Denver terminal scenery) and stay there for the duration of the month until the next month’s winner is chosen.

Hub Managers and Assistant Hub Managers are ineligible for posting in this competition.

    Some General guidelines:

Timeline:  Submission of screenshots from the 16th of the previous month to the 15th of the current month.

HM and AHM decide on the top 5 screenshots, 16th thru 19th

Hub voting for top screenshot 20th thru 24th

General vote for top WWA screenshot 25th thru the last day of the month)

Images are limited to a width of 800 px

Pilots are to submit 1 photo only per month, all photos must have Pilot name, WWA# date taken and a brief description of the photo.  The screenshot must be from a flight during the month of the competition.  Ex:  A pilot cannot submit a screenshot taken in May for the June competition.

There is no prize for participating, this contest is designed to showcase your talents as an aviator and as a photographer. If you have any questions, you can always contact me via email or this forum.

    Re: WWA Screenshot Contest

OK the first screenshot has come and gone with no entries from our hub. I am thinking all you guys are a bit camera shy ? I am going to up the anti for our second month. All pilots that submit a screenshot photo to me or Joe will win a night in the Rogers Centre box seats to watch the Blue Jays with me the Hub Manager and Joe the Assistant Hub Manager and if your photo wins I will lend you my Westwind company car for a month. So get your photo done and send it in.Movie

But will try to get a photo in as soon as the next competion is due - what is the car? Hope it has insurance includedDevil

It's the Yugo that I imported on the B747 cargo flight. I was able to get it from Kim's collection. I think you will enjoy this car as it's great on gas.

    Re: WWA Screenshot Contest

The rules changes because we were getting zero participation and HM's could not participate.  With the new regs everyone is allowed to enter.  Just send me the photo and I will post it in the voting poll.  Simple as that.
