    Hello Frankfurt

Hi guys. I have come to join you for a bit. I will be a part of the Frankfurt hub for a while. This is a routine stop as I move around periodically from hub to hub.

I will at least spend Oktoberfest with you and have a cup of your finest with my old friend and first hub manager Hans Nagelkerke. I am excited to be visiting Europe once again and excited about being in our European Headquarters!

I don't know how much flying I will be doing in and out of Frankfurt. Currently I am on the P002 Charter and not yet finished. I think I have about a year to go at the rate I am progressing. I will be doing that charter through Europe shortly though.

I also stole one of our new B777-200LRs to help with the relief efforts in Haiti and Grand Turk I. I will be bringing that back shortly.

Where's a good place to eat? I'm hungry!

HeHe. Well it's like this. I was in London not too long ago and I have spent a lot of time in Amsterdam which was my first hub. I have never (I dont' think) been a part of Frankfurt so I figured I had better spend some time here and help promote our European HQ.  The urge to come back to Europe was too strong. I love flying over here.

The last time I was in a restaurante in Germany (RW) I was trying to order a cup of tea and I had the whole place laughing before it was all said and done.

But as soon as I have breakfast, its off to Mongolia on P002. You won't be seeing much of me for a while.

    Cheers.

    Re: Hello Frankfurt

    Hey Mike!

I couldn't help but noticed you stopped in Riga on your P002 charter! There's plenty to do starting with the aviation museum located right on the ground of EVRA! The military museum is home to several russian military and passenger aircraft such as Tu-104's and Mig 29's. After touring the museum, take a short taxi ride into the heart of the old city, which was named a UNESCO heritage site because of it's extensive and well preserved Art Nouveau buildings in the city. Be sure to stop at some of the historic churches, especially the Doma (Dom) cathedral. It was built in the 13th century and has a pipe organ that dates to the mid 19th century. After touring the old town, stop by one of the Lido restaurants for cuisine based off middle ages recipes and try one of the domestic brews, such as Aldaris, Lacplesis or Minhauzen. A short trip across the Daugava river is the Riga motor museum complete with the limos of Soviet premiers such as Stalin and Brezhnev. Hope you have a good time in Latvia and enjoy the rest of your trip! Who knows, I might run into you on my way to or from NZAA flying "the Monster"!
