    Re: Sunny KL

Shams, I am headed for Kuala Lumpur checking out the new routes out of Mumbai. I just realized that I have not been to KL in a long time. I make it to Singapore a lot, but don't often stop in KL. I have been trying to find the Petronas Towers on Google Earth but can't seem to locate them. Are they anywhere near the airport? You don't work there do you? Cheers.

    Mike,

Welcome to sunny KL hope you love it as much as we do!  You'll find the Towers (everybody here calls them KLCC) about 50KM from  KLIA.  The airport is to the SW of the city.  I live about in the middle of the two.  From KLIA it takes about 1hr to the city.  You should see the towers on FSX scenery but like most of Asia the default is not that good.  No I don't work in them I am now freelance here, working from home.  I found this on google, checkout this link.

Yes, I was able to find them both on google earth and zoom in a little closer. Well I am off to Mumbai on the afternoon flight. Then I will be checking out some more routes out of Mumbai. Cheers.

Are you thinking of a Charter tour?  If so I can, if you want, plan a mini tour of Malaysia for you.
