Attention LAX pilots, WestWind is going to be hosting a monthly screenshot competition starting June 1st 2008. The photos will be judged by both the Hub management and then the Hub pilots themselves before being voted on by the entire airline. The winner for the month will get their picture placed on the airline homepage in place of the currently outdated Denver Terminal picture. Each month the picture will be replaced by that months winner.
So here is how it works....
First take a screen shot in either FS9 (PrintScreen button, then paste into any paint program like MSpaint and save) or FSX (press V, pictures are saved automatically in a FS folder in "My Documents") Submit the photo via e-mail to myself blue_747@yahoo.com or Anthony antmillerm@yahoo.com You must include your Pilot number, Date of photo taken (Must be during the same month for the competition, ie. March photos not accepted during June contest), Title of photo, and a brief description. Photos must be submitted between the 1st and 20th of the month. The Hub management will then select the top 5 and then from the 20th - 25th the Hub pilots will vote for the #1 photo. That photo will go into a pool with the top photos from the other hubs and be voted on by the pilots between the 26th and the 1st of the next month. The winner gets to be posted on the front page!!!
NOTE: Each pilot may only submit one photo per month and since the Hub management is selecting the top five we are ineligible so no crys of fowl play! :)
