Monthly WWA Screenshot Competition

Starting June 1, 2008 Each WWA Hub will be holding individual screenshot competitions.  Beginning on the 1^st of the month until the 15^th, pilots will submit photos to the Hub Manager or Assistant Hub Manager for selection of the top 5 photos to be voted on.  From the 20^th to the 25^th the hub members will then vote for the best photo from their hub.  After the 1 photo is chosen it will go into a pool with the winner from all other WWA Hubs from the 26^th thru the last day of the month voting will take place for the whole airline. 

After the winner is chosen that photo will be displayed on the main WWA home page (in place of the WW Denver terminal scenery) and stay there for the duration of the month until the next months winner is chosen.

Some General guidelines:

Timeline:  Submission of screenshots 1^st thru the 15th(for June 2008),

               Screenshots will be accepted from the 16th of previous month thru the 15th day of the current monthly 

                competition.

                HM and AHM decide on the top 5 screenshots, 16^th thru 19^th

                Hub voting for top screenshot 20^th thru 24^th

                General vote for top WWA screenshot 25^th thru the last day of the month)

Each HM or AHM should do the following after they have decided on the top 5 photos for the hub.  On the 19th send and e-mail to your pilots with the 5 photos you have selected and have them reply with the one they want to vote for. 

Pilots are to submit 1 photo only per month, all photos must have Pilot name, WWA# date taken and a brief description of the photo. 

Screenshots will be accepted from the 16th until the 15th of the current month of the competition, to allow pilots to submit a photo if it was taken after the 15th deadline.

To take screenshots FSX: hit the v key. The photo then is in your Flight Simulator X Files in My Documents

So, starting 1 June, start sending your screenshots to Andy or myself.  Hopefully we can get someone on the WWA homepage.

Is there a size limit on the image (800x600 for example)?

I need to fly more or you're going to catch me in total lbs. of cargo flown this year.  Between the 2 of us we're pushing up on 15 million pounds!! 

Yes, they want the size to be 800x600.  It has to fit on the home page without having to have use a scroll bar for those who still view in 800x600. 

I noticed I caught you in cargo, but I'm sure it won't last long.  I have dedicated June to cargo, so that's how I caught you.  I am flying all the KAFW cargo routes, plus I did that new charter you made.  Since all of May was Around-The-World and June is cargo, I guess July will be pax flying.  And once I get back to the states in Aug, my hours will decrease a little.  I do love how our airline has so much variety.
