I'm not sure if this is the write section, please correct me if it isn't (or a moderator can move this topic). 

I just downloaded the check ride mission.  I was reading the description on the website and it said I needed a video.  I booted up the mission and went to the options tab, but "Flight Video" was greyed out.  Is it possible to make a flight video in missions?

You can record a video with software like FRAPS (payware) or other.

I do not think that it's really necessary to record the video, I really don't think they'll ask you for it :)

 I did the video - lot's of mess and it was for nothing! :) But the flight comment may be helpful.

Are you sure we don't need a video?  Can someone else confirm this?

The mission says it would take about 50 minutes. If I were to record with Fraps, the file size would be huge!

If you downloaded the mission, when you complete the mission there is a number in the reward you receive. When you go to appy and say you completed the mission it will ask for that number. You only need a video if you fly the check flight offline. Hope that helps.
