    For Ed

    Hello Ed,

I remember you had asked way back when the CYYZ Hub opened about a flight into Moose Jaw CYMJ. You can now find it in the Calgary CYYC Mini Hub as I have added two Daily flights between CYYC and CYMJ.

     Enjoy

    Hi Rob,

I finally was able to fly to Moose Jaw and really enjoyed the flight and the airport.  I forgot how flat Canada was out here!  Anyhow,  thank you again for the route and I plan on flying all the routes out of Calgary.

    Re: For Ed

    Hi Ed,

That's great as I love to hear feed back on routes and I hope you enjoy the other routes. One airport I just added is Penticton, BC as it's not in the Vancouver hub. You have to fly this route as you depart Calgary it will take you over the Rockies and the scenery into the airport is breath taking and the airport sits right next to a lake and the approach on 26 goes right over the lake. I would have to say one of my favorite airport approaches. I took an Q400 in. Another nice route is Kelowna, BC and Nanaimo, BC. Please give me your feed back on Nanaimo, BC as it is about 400 NM from Calgary and I made it an RJ route but the runway is only about 5500 feet and I had a hard time getting the RJ from over running the length. I need to know if we should keep the RJ or for safety reasons should we only have TP's on the Nanaimo route ?

    Re: For Ed

    Hi Rob,

I flew the Nanaimo, BC route yesterday with the CRJ 700 and I had no problems landing, in fact I had plenty of runway left.  During the approach I used full flaps and an approach speed of about 130 kts.  I think I had a good 500 to 900 feet of runway left when I was slow enough to taxi off the runway.  Nice flight by the way and the airport is cozy with a down home feeling.  Thanks again for the routes!  I will continue flying all the local domestic routes before heading back to Toronto.

    Ed
