    No brakes?

I have been flying the CRJ-700. Ever time I land, the brakes don't work. The speed will not lower more than 60. I am doing everything right, the little "brake" word box shows up at the bottom left of the screen, but I'm not slowing down. Is there an auto brake on the CRJ-700? Is anybody else having that problem? I end up skidding right off the end of the runway, through neighborhoods. I have gone 5 minutes without slowing down at all!

Two things to check, make sure you have the engines in either idle or reverse.  The crj shouldn't have autothrottles, but if it does make sure they are turned off before you land........I've done that a bunch in fs9, and it is very confusing......

    Re: No brakes?

If you use the autopilot before or during your approach, make sure you turn off the auto throttle ("speed" button) when you disengage the autopilot.  I've had similar situations where I disengaged the autopilot, but the engines were still going strong because I didn't click the speed button to turn it off too.

I'm not sure if I'm doing that correctly, but when I disengage the autopilot (usually when given the final vectors to intercept ILS or to visually find the runway), I go across and click the autopilot, heading, altitude, and speed buttons to turn them all off.
