    A change of scenery

I have officially transferred from the DFW hub up to SLC.  After 4 1/2 years, flying out of DFW was starting to get stale.  Not to say anything against that hub, they have consistently met my needs as a pilot.  As far as on-line flying goes, DFW has some of the best and frequent ATC coverage I've encountered on VATSIM, and I while I plan to get back down there from time to time, much as I've gotten up to SLC from time to time, I will definitely be missing the ATC down in ZFW's airspace.

As I do all of my flying on VATSIM, with or without ATC, I would appreciate it if someone could brief me on the local procedures (preferred runways, etc.) for KSLC as they pertain to VATSIM operations.

    Hi Mark,

We met the other night on Vatsim flying into Salt Lake. Just wanted to say "Hello" again.  I lost my connection, it's not that reliable from here, as we were both making our way in on the Fairfield Six arrival.

    Hope to see you again.
