About Bob Sturm
I am 63, married for 42 years. I have 2 daughters who have provided 4 grandchildren. I have a lot of education but no degrees. I served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, two of those in Germany, during the Vietnam War. I was a jet aircraft technician. I am an automotive technician by trade, but have worked in engineering as well. I have taught automotive technology for the past 25 years or so. I still teach part time at the community college. I have been with WestWind going on 10 years. I worked my way up to my current position. I have served as Assistant Hub Manager, Hub Manager, Director of Cargo Operations, Director of Hub Operation, Executive V.P. of Hub Operations and now Executive V.P. of Scenery. Although no longer current, I hold a Private Pilot License. I do my flight sim flying Off Line. I live in Northern Michigan, so my hobbies, besides flight simming are just about anything outdoors, year around.
